Fly our flag high and proud! The front of our flag features the dark and vast night sky of Idaho with 44 stars symbolizing each Idaho county with the peregrine falcon, the Idaho state raptor soaring protectively over our mountains and lakes. The back of our flag features the Pick-Ax & Scythe that represent the combination of agriculture and industry (particularly mining) that have made the Gem State so unique.
It’s topped off with our motto: XLIV In Unitate. This is Latin for 44 United or 44 In Unity.
